The United States Supreme Court recently vacated a $79.5 million punitive damages verdict against Phillip Morris, remanding the case for further review. This widely reported case has been touted as a victory for big business-but is it?

Robert S. Peck, President of the Center for Constitutional Litigation and counsel of record for the plaintiffs/respondents, who argued the case before the Supreme Court, will analyze the opinions and its impact on the award of punitive damages in plaintiff cases. He will be joined by Sharon J. Arkin and Prof. Jay M. Feinman.
